Hit the Miniature Links With These Family-Friendly Siesta Key Mini Golf Courses

There’s no question that a great thing to do in Siesta Key is mini-golfing. Locals love it and openly tell all kinds of visitors about it. Check out some of the great options here for mini-golfing and more. Also, if you’re looking around for the best family resort Siesta Key, learn more about Tropical Breeze Resort.

Mini Golf Siesta Key, an Activity for Everyone

When it comes to top things to do in Siesta Key for families, mini-golf is a must-try. This barrier island area of Sarasota has an elevation of just 3 inches, meaning it is perfect for a bit of mini-golf.

Every person of every age can enjoy this sport as it’s exciting, easy to learn, and all in all, fun to play. Siesta Key’s an excellent golf area, as is the whole state of Florida. Many people come to and from this state and Sarasota just for the golfing (and yes, that does include the mini-golfing).

Ever thought of how the wind can affect your golf experience? The Siesta Key area also has typical northbound winds hitting about three mph any time of year. This, in turn, is ideal for a golfing or mini-golfing environment: greens, holes, and all.

Plus, you get around 89% humidity or higher year-round. Unlike tennis, in which you can sweat more quickly and easily under the hot sun, or volleyball, where you can get covered in sand and clean yourself off, mini-golf is an easygoing, clean sport that everyone can participate in easily. It’s super popular here for these reasons and more!

Smuggler’s Cove Adventure Golf

Once you’re ready to step out of your spacious Siesta Key resort suite, the first place worth looking at is the one, and only Smuggler’s Cove Adventure Golf (opens 9 am-11 pm daily). It’s open 365 days a year and even features a few alligators that you can see from a relatively close, but safe distance and even feed. You’ll get to see these live alligators when you play your way through the 18 holes of the course, you can also enjoy the waterfalls, caves, and even a pirate ship. The feedable alligators here are about 30 in total.

Smugglers Cove has proudly earned the Best Mini Golf in Florida award for five years. The staff works hard to make the venue immaculate, attractive, and safe for all to enjoy. You can get free parking any time you come, and you don’t even have to plan a reservation; just come in anytime during the open hours and golf your heart out. Adults enter for just $16 (and children 12 and under for just $14). Have fun!

Evie’s Family Golf Center

Want to come in any day from 8 am to 10 pm (or 11 pm Friday and Saturday) to enjoy this lovely par 40 course with your buddies, partner or family? Anyone’s welcome to come here and enjoy the challenges across this handicap-accessible, 18-hole waterfall course featuring some of the loveliest landscapes you will ever encounter. It’s only $12 for kids 12 and younger (down to 4 years old) or seniors 65 and older, $12 for adults, and free for kids three and younger who enter with a paying grownup.

You can come in as late as 9 pm to take part in that final daily round from Sundays to Thursdays. The last mini-golf game kicks off to end the night. If you can’t get enough from playing, just come back and start over again the following day. There’s plenty to play besides mini-golf; in fact, they’ve got their arcade inside and Wiffle ball. Plus, they feature a driving range and a junior golf clinic.

Feeling hungry? Our resort puts you near countless Siesta Key restaurants, and Evie’s Family Golf Center has one of them! Stop in at their tavern and grill or even their ice cream parlor if you get hungry. They’ve got plenty of food and drink. Play, eat, relax, repeat!

PopStroke

Eat, putt, and drink: That’s what this place is all about. Make sure to repeat the process repeatedly; that’ll get you hooked here on some great mini golf challenges. This place is one of the most attractive mini-golf options around. People say they can’t get enough of all the tremendous mini-courses (2 of them) and the friendly course services they offer.

They’ve got their full-service restaurant when it’s time to stop playing and refill with a bite. Here, they serve everything from burgers to salads to chips. The wait times to get in are not relatively long, either.

This place opens 10 am to midnight Wed-Sat, and 10 am to 11 pm Sun-Tues. If you want to play the entire 18-hole course, it’s only $20 per game, per person. You can get a $5 discount off said price if you’re 60 or older. If you’re 6 to 12, you can enter for just $16 (or $12 if just five and under). Military personnel pays just $15 per ticket. Anyone in an adult group of 10 or more pays just $18 per person (or the reduced fare ticket if they meet one of the abovementioned exceptions, whichever price is higher).

The Fish Hole

The Fish Hole Miniature Golf opens from 9 am to 9:30 pm daily and even offers party discount packages; when there, it’s one of the best places any kid, teen, or even full-grown adult can spend their birthday. If you get the SNOOK PACKAGE, you can pay just $16 for each golfer in your group, and that price includes one game through the 18-hole course, a soft fountain drink, some food, and even a free future round (limit 1 per player).

You’ll find this location close to Bridge St., a trendy commercial and tourist area in nearby Anna Maria Island. If the Florida weather is up in the 90s F (or even, like on rarer days, at 100 degrees F), you’re in luck. Why? They’ve got a perfectly balanced array of mist sprayers that blow throughout the course. These are conveniently located in different parts of the setup, some atop, others on the ground. They’ve got a lovely koi pond and some plants, which certainly add to the park’s visual appeal.
