Getting to the Island: Plane, Train or Car
- The nearest airport to Tropical Breeze Resort is Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), less than a half hour drive away.
- St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport (PIE) and Tampa International Airport (TPA) are both located about an hour north of Siesta Key.
- Orlando is a little over two hours north with both major airport Orlando International (MCO) in-bound flights and Amtrak service into the city.
- Auto rentals for visitors traveling to Siesta Key are easily accessible from any of these. Siesta Key is accessed by I-75 S from either Exit 205 or 207.
Exploring Siesta Key
While Tropical Breeze Resort is an easy walk to almost anywhere on Siesta Key, there are other options for getting around the island once you’re here. Jonny’s Original Free Ride provides electric vehicle shuttle service for tips only in Siesta Key Village, Siesta Key Beach and Turtle Beach areas, along with restaurant and grocery delivery. Bikes, scooters, scootercars, kayaks and beach wheelchairs are all available for rent at Siesta Sports Rentals. Several companies offer traditional taxis around the clock.
