The Cottage Restaurant Siesta Key

The Cottage Restaurant

The Cottage is a pleasant change of pace compared to the two restaurants above. The team relies on sustainable meats and seafood, as well as a focus on local-centric ingredients. The chefs really prioritize creativity and color for their often eccentric yet always impressive dishes. We recommend the Tempura Shrimp, Big Island Tuna Poke, and the Wonton Tuna Tacos. You can expect some really inventive holiday Thanksgiving meals. The dinner menu encompasses various tapas, like lobster bisque and crab cake.

The Cottage is ideal for a cozy Valentine’s dinner. It’s intimate atmosphere and small dining hall makes for a very comfortable and elegant space. It is located at 153 Avenida Messina, Siesta Key, FL 34242 and is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with extended hours to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Summer House Steak & Seafood

Many locals say this is the best restaurant on the island, and it’s also the newest! This fine-dining steak and seafood restaurant is across the street from the resort and offers expertly crafted cocktails and mouthwatering meals.

We recommend the lobster bisque and spring for the Truffle bearnaise sauce on your ribeye! It is truly life changing. Open 4 – 11 p.m. Friday – Saturday, and 4 – 10 p.m. the rest of the week. They are extremely popular, so consider making reservations.

The Old Salty Dog

The Old Salty Dog is a fun place for families. Kids will love the cool dog-themed décor. Even pets are welcome!

There’s live music to add to the energy, as well as an ambitious classic British/American pub menu. The pub is famous for its epic beer-battered hot dogs.
