About The Daiquiri Deck Florida Chain
The Daiquiri Deck is the brainchild of Troy Syprett, who came up with the idea for a daiquiri bar in Siesta Key more than two decades ago. Syprett, who was fresh out of grad school and working as a lifeguard, pitched the idea for the bar to his friend, Russell Matthes, who had restaurant industry experience.
In 1993, the duo opened Café Garden’s Daiquiri Deck in the Village. Shortly after, “Café Gardens” was dropped from the name.
Today, the Daiquiri Deck has four locations throughout the region and is known all over the world.
The original Daiquiri Deck Raw Bar in the Village (5250 Ocean Ave) is just a short walk from Tropical Breeze Resort and other Siesta Key beach hotels. It’s the perfect stop on your way to or from a relaxing day on the beach.
Siesta Key Village – Daiquiri Deck
The Daiquiri Deck in Siesta Key Village is just a five-minute walk from Tropical Breeze Resort (0.2 miles, to be exact).
From our front office:
- Head north on Avenida Navarra.
- In 131 feet, turn right onto Avenida Messina.
- In 289 feet, turn right onto Ocean Blvd.
- Daiquiri Deck is just 0.1 miles down the street.
The bar is conveniently located on the way to and from the beach. They’re open 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., 7 days a week. Don’t miss happy hour from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. daily!

Food & Fun
Daiquiri Deck is known for its heat-busting frozen daiquiris, but they also serve up small plates and fresh platters that will satisfy everyone.
Stop in for Taco Tuesday, where margaritas are just $5 all day. Try their Apalachicola Oysters, fresh from the Gulf of Mexico, or the Blue Point Oysters from the Atlantic Ocean. Eat your oysters raw or steamed.
Not a fan of oysters? Daiquiri Deck has you covered. Indulge in other Siesta Key favorites, like shrimp, clams casino, Mahi bites and grouper fingers.
For a light lunch, try the fresh salads – like the Island Salad with quinoa, wheat berry, shrimp and fresh vegetables – or sandwiches – like the Short Rib Grilled Cheese with Jamaican Style short ribs, smoked Gouda and a side of orange marmalade. You can even build your own sandwich.
Daiquiri Deck’s complete menu includes entrées (served with soup or salad, fresh vegetables, and your choice of a side), pizza and soup. Top it off with a slice of key lime pie or a smoothie!
Vegan and gluten-free options are available to accommodate everyone.
Food isn’t the only thing on the menu at Daiquiri Deck. The bar regularly hosts live music, drink specials, sporting events and competitions, like corn hole and beer pong.
Each year, the bar hosts its Deck2Deck2Deck Run, where participants run from one Daiquiri Deck to another. Runners enjoy a complimentary buffet, breakfast, and cocktails.
